In this class, you will learn:
- Swiss roll techniques
- How to bake designs into a sponge
- Decorative and functional incorporation of fruits in a Swiss roll
- How to line a cake into a 2D ‘comic’ format
Details:
- Duration: 3.5 Hours.
- Type: Full Hands-on.
- Recommended age: 16 Years Old and Above.
- Equipment, ingredients and packaging will all be provided.
- Students will each get to bring back ONE 11” Swiss roll OR ONE 8” Swiss roll and ONE 3” Swiss roll slice.
*Students will work IN PAIRS to make the sponge batter and strawberry cream, but INDIVIDUALLY to pipe the designs, assemble the roll, and line the cake
